SGESCO-MAX has announced a new Lifecycle Maintenance Program to ensure safety, asset up time and optimal life of MAX-SAFE Solutions.
“Any vehicle safety system requires maintenance to ensure all aspects function as designed at all times, and ours are no different,” said General Manager of Operations at SGESCO-MAX, Darryl Marshall.
“While we have always offered ongoing service and maintenance through our dealer network, we wanted to move to a more structured model for greater safety assurance and easier budget planning for clients,” he said.
Initially the Lifecycle Maintenance Program applies to the two most widely adopted MAX-SAFE solutions: MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System™ and MAX-SAFE Reverse Watch®.
SGESCO-MAX recommended their MAX-SAFE safety solutions undergo three maintenance measures throughout their lifecycle:
1. Routine checks
2. Preventative maintenance
3. Corrective maintenance
Preventative Maintenance was a scheduled service designed to replace heavily used components on a predetermined timeline (i.e. every 2, 4, or 6 years) to optimise the system componentry to maintain maximum safety.
MAX-SAFE solutions come with a Standard Warranty for 12-months and unlimited kilometres.
SGESCO-MAX offered Extended Warranty that could be purchased within the first 12 months to provide cover for an additional 6 years, to match a typical 7-year vehicle contract. It could be paid in full during the first 12 months or on an annual basis.
“Any organisation taking up Extended Warranty will have their MAX-SAFE solution’s lifecycle maintained by the SGESCO-MAX authorised dealer who installed it using our range of Genuine Preventative Maintenance Kits, ensuring system and consumer confidence,” said Darryl.
The Extended Warranty covered the main components, including:
